Description / Swing-Mate Deluxe Porch Swing Hanging Kit
The Swing-Mate® Spring goes between the overhead support and swing chain to provide a more comfortable, softer feel to your porch swing, free-standing swing, hammocks and hammock chairs. The Swing-Mate® is a heavy-duty barrel shaped spring approximately 2” in diameter and 8-1/2” in length. It is zinc plated and clear coated to provide additional protection against the elements.

Purchased this thinking it would make a nice addition to our porch swing but it squeaks loudly. Not really a squeak more like a rasp being pulled over plastic. Hopefully it will wear itself smooth and stop the noise. Being a plastic you wouldn't think it would make a noise.

We bought this to get the springs to hang a swing from a tree. I'm glad I did buy these as it helps with the motion once on the swing and not so jarring.
A must for the swing.
